Our wool yarn was sourced from a 5th generation family owned and operated weaving mill in California that went out of business as the youngest generation no longer wanted to participate. The owners sought us out as we are also a family owned and operated mill in Colorado. The yarns were acquired from mills in the United States, New Zealand, Australia and England.

Kimberly Perkins has been dyeing yarn since 2008, and specializes in natural fiber yarns, lovingly hand-dyed by Kimberly in her studio in Fort Garland, Colorado. Her exclusive colorways are inspired by literature, art, nature, and especially by Kimberly’s surroundings in the southern Colorado Rocky Mountains. Her yarns consist of predominantly natural fibers, including several breeds of wool, alpaca, silk, mohair, bamboo, and tencel. They are sourced from growers around the world, including the UK, Peru, South Africa, and the US.
